Silke Eckstein is an assistant professor (wissenschaftliche Assistentin) at the Institute for Information Systems at TU Braunschweig where she heads the Bioinformatics research group. From April 2007 to March 2008 she provisionally chaired the Institute. For a short Curriculum Vitae see here.
